Punto Criollo in Coral Gables is a must-visit if you're craving authentic Venezuelan food! I had the carne mechada with rice, black beans, and cheese - everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The beef was tender, the beans rich, and the cheese tied it all together. The tequeños were golden and cheesy - seriously addictive! I also had a papelón con limón, which was super refreshing and balanced the meal beautifully. The vibe is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I'll definitely visit again soon.

Best place I have been for breakfast or quick lunch. Empanadas are amazing with even the specialized empanada de cazón, pabellón and others. Lunches are full and at amazing prices. Don't miss out!!!

I came here for breakfast. The signage is in Spanish but they have both Spanish and English menus. I ate in and the staff was very helpful and attentive. The cafe con leche was perfect. For food I have the Viva Viviana arepa fried (grilled was an option). The garlic sauce was very tasty and compliments the picanha.I also got shredded meat empanadas to go. The dough was sweet so not to my liking. I'd definitely return to try some more of the menu.

The lunch special was PHENOMENAL. I read a review that the soup was delicious and that comes with the lunch special....so that was a great surprise to try! Delicious food, amazing staff and fun atmosphere. I live 45 minutes away and would drive down just to eat here again. Very refreshing food and excellent service!
